If you’ll be entering 8th or 9th grade in the fall 2022 and you’d like to get to know Jewish, Muslim, and Christian youths, sign up for the South Coast Interfaith Council’s pilot program.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY JULY 17!

The program will meet once a month; during Thanksgiving week, we will engage in 3 days of service/learning. The program first came together to meet the mental health challenges our youth face today. Gradually, the concept grew to include also:

  • developing meaningful friendships across faith identities
  • engaging in community service and earning a Presidential Service Award
  • learning about Religious Pluralism
  • developing leadership and communication skills across difference
  • celebrating one another holy days

Through this program, we hope that our youth can help us cultivate resilient and pluralistic communities in the South Bay. We are recruiting incoming 8th and 9th graders in the hopes that relationships formed will offer support throughout high school.
