The Pacific Unitarian Board of Trustees (BoT) cordially invites you to the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Budget Preview Town Hall
On Sunday, May 5th at 12:15 PM in Henriksen Hall.
Pacific Unitarian’s Fiscal Year (FY) runs from July 1st through June 30th. At the Fall Financial Review last December, the discussion included the BoT’s budget building guiding principles, process and schedule.
Over the past few months, our various Committee Chairs, staff members, Finance Committee & BoT have been building the next FY’s budget in preparation for the Annual Congregational Meeting in June.
The purpose of our Town Hall on May 5th is to have a dialogue about the latest draft budget and elicit feedback from the congregation. This feedback is crucial to the BoT’s ability to make thoughtful & informed modifications prior to presenting the proposed budget for the congregation’s approval in June.
Specific Town Hall goals are to:
- Present the draft budget and compare to the current FY’s budget
- Discuss this year’s budget building equities, challenges, opportunities & decisions
- Listen to feedback from the congregation & engage in conversation to ensure the feedback is adequately understood
- Answer questions
