The theme of light shines through the holiday season. Each religion incorporates light into its celebrations, representing the literal return of the sun as well as the spiritual ideas of hope, joy, and good in the world. As we gather this Xmas Eve within days of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and the Pagan Yule, lest us bask in the combined light from all traditions, wishing joy and hope increase exponentially.
