Laundry Love is a National Movement
Laundry Love is a national movement that started in Ventura, California. In a Laundry Love ministry, a church partners with a laundromat and comes together regularly to clean clothes and linens for low-income and no-income families and individuals.
As the gentleman who inspired the Ventura Laundry Love ministry said, “If I had clean clothes, people would treat me like a human being.”

Volunteering consists of signing people in, assisting with the washers and dryers, and visiting with people. Volunteers don’t handle the clothing, rather they help people get machines started, add the soap, and keep track of when machines are available. There is plenty of down time to get to chat with our guests.
