The Los Angeles District Attorney has identified Los Angeles as the capital of sex trafficking
and has made this one of his key issues to address. This is a joint presentation with
Kathleen Terry and Deatra Handy, Program Director of Restoration Diversion Services, a
drop-in center in Compton that last year helped rescue 15 girls from the streets. Deatra
brings firsthand experience and hope—demonstrating that while this problem is real and
urgent, it is not hopeless. Together, they will highlight the realities of trafficking in our area
and share meaningful ways our congregation can make a difference in prevention,
awareness, and support. https://restorationdiversionservices.com/
