The theme of light shines through the holiday season. Many religions incorporate light into their celebrations, representing the literal return of the sun as well as the spiritual ideas of hope, joy, and good in the world. As we gather this Xmas Eve within days of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and the Pagan Yule, let us bask in the combined light from all traditions with the wish that joy and hope increase exponentially.
The service will begin at 5 pm with special music and wintry treats beforehand for those who come early.
