Every Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Pacific Unitarian volunteers pull together 35 lunches and other treats for the local non-profit Community’s Child.
Community’s Child Residential Living and Personal Development Program, located in Lomita, CA, is open to homeless single mothers over the age of eighteen years, with an infant under the age of twelve months. It offers women and children with healthy, and alternatives by providing safe living environments, training and education to end poverty, neglect, abuse, addictions and hopelessness.
We are going strong. This is now one of our best hands-on weekly act of service.
If you want to join us for 45 minutes of hard work, please come join us and do so.
