The Pacific Unitarian Book Club meets on the patio or in the library on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:30 am.

There is also a Zoom session of the Book Club for anyone who is unable to attend the daytime meeting.  The Zoom session meets at 7 p.m. on the same Thursday as the in-person session.

Below is our schedule for the next four months:

May 15:  We won’t be discussing a specific book in May.  Instead, members are asked to briefly tell the group about a book they love.  It can be a recent discovery or an old favorite.  It should be a fun and informative meeting.

June 19: The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon

July 17: The Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

Aug. 21: Authentic Selves: Celebrating Trans and Nonbinary People and Their Families.  Edited by Peggy Gillespie.

Sept. 18: Playground: A Novel by Richard Powers

Oct 16: A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles

No RSVP necessary.  Just read the book and join us.  If you would like to be on the email list for the book club, you can sign up at the Welcome Table before the service on any Sunday morning.  You will receive the latest news about the book club, including upcoming book choices and also the Zoom link for those who would like to attend the online evening session.
