The Nancy Hofland Permaculture Garden is located at the southeast boundary of Pacific Unitarian Universalist Church on Montemalaga Drive, and adjacent to the preschool. It is part of Green Sanctuary Committee’s efforts.
We welcome everyone while being a relatively low-key drop-in operation. Learn about permaculture practices by becoming a Garden Angel, watering and weeding, and turning compost. You’ll learn by doing about food trees, companion planting, and deep mulching.
If you are unable to dedicate consistent ongoing volunteer gardening, join in the Spring and Fall garden clean-ups and planting of the next season’s crop.
We also meet on an ad hoc basis to plan for changes.
Contact Green Sanctuary committee chair Carolyn Waters to volunteer or for more information.
