Pacific Unitarian’s Annual Retreat at Camp de Benneville Pines 

June 9-11, 2023 

Come join your family and friends for a wonderful weekend of fUUn, laughter, conversation and renewal

 at our Unitarian Universalist mountain retreat, Camp de Benneville Pines.

Schedule

Friday, June 9th

Register from 12:00pm-7:00pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm followed by socializing and board games.

Arrive early? Explore camp, socialize, relax.  Arrive late? We’ll be there to greet you.

Saturday, June 10th

Start the day with meditation, breakfast, and short and long morning hikes. 

After lunch, spend the afternoon with archery, arts n’ crafts, workshops, swimming, and more.

End the evening with dinner, a talent show, and board games.

Sunday, June 11th

After breakfast, worship together in the woods, grab and go lunch, and enjoy camp until it closes at 2:00pm.

Program

Volunteers host a variety of activities for adults, teenagers and children.

Relaxed and self-selected, join in the fUUn as much or as little as you wish.

Activities include hiking to the woods and Fairy Forest, walks to Jenks Lake, sports, swimming, arts n’ crafts, singing, dancing, dialogue, stargazing, outdoor worship, board games and puzzles, and lounging around.

Share your talents at the always entertaining “UUn-Talent” Show on Saturday evening.

Location & Accommodations 

The spacious, inviting Homet Lodge is the main meeting place where we’ll dine, do activities and visit.

Outdoors – nature, archery, labyrinth, playground, pool, volleyball & basketball courts, table tennis, horseshoes.

Sleeping arrangements are in heated cabins with individual rooms with bunk beds and shared bathrooms with showers; bring a sleeping bag / linens and towels. Delicious home-style cooking by the staff.

Camp de Benneville Pines and Conference Center is 28 miles southwest of Big Bear, in the Barton Flats area of the San Bernardino National Forest at an altitude of 6,800 feet. 

Pricing

Rates: Children (3-12 years) $125, Teens (13-17 years) $145, Adults $180 

Prices are per person, including two nights lodging, meals from Friday evening to Sunday lunch & all activities.
