Two part Political discussion/talks/lectures on and about the culture wars. Dec 8, and Dec 22. Anthropologist Amanda Zunner-Keating, seen above after her World Religion Seminar talk with Rev. Steve and Linda Shahian is returning to our Pacific Unitarian community to offer two mini-training/talks on effective political dialogue.  Come for information, stimulation, and to be a participant in the political process.
 
Sunday, December 8 from noon to 1:00 pm. The first of our post church sessions will be on how to run a small focus group focus on how political conflict is impacting our personal lives. Please join us to share your experiences navigating what is popularly called “The Culture Wars.”
 
Sunday, December 22 from noon to 1:00 pm
. The second of our post church session will involve Amanda drawing upon her own interviews with a far-right community in rural Arizona, and her background in group facilitation. Amanda will be here to offer practical tools aimed at improving political dialogue during this fraught presidential election cycle. She will use us as something of a focus group in these two-interesting back-to-back post church sessions.
